UKTI is responsible for promoting trade between the UK and various international countries.

The situation

They wanted to identify various companies looking to export in specific sectors and build a database of contracts for future marketing communications activities.

The solution

Win Marketing conducted desk research to identify organisations in market sectors, specifically rail in the East Midlands. Telephone calls were conducted to these organisations to identify individual names and their exporting plans for the future. UKTI were supplied with a clean list of data including full contact details, company names together with their requirements and plans for exporting. This database allowed UKTI to target specific marketing communications to these individuals and plan future activities.
